Hello!

Update: Mama Elephant hearts me! This card received the Honorable Mention title! YAY! I'm a challenge fave! :) I'm super happy! Thanks ladies!! :)

Hi there!
And if you are new to my blog.. welcome! :)
Yesterday I wanted to create something new... and here's what came up!

I love drawing.. yeah so much, but I always have too little time to do it! (Yeah i'm that kind of person who draws on the paper towels too! ahah!)
For some times I saw beautiful works of art from so many talented designers and they had inspired me so much that I just wanna give my watercolors a try!
So i took a watercolor paper and i started drawing on it directly with my brush, i didn't make any pencil line or design.. i just let it go!
Here's a detail...

I think this hello script by Mama Elephant it's perfect with my background, it's so elegant!
Challenges:

I was inspired by this beautiful floral part of the dress, i think it's amazing! But i wanna a softened look so i use a pale yellow card base to complete my card and not a brighter one!

Hope you like it and thank you so so much for stopping by today! :)
I'm working on some super special projects these days and i'm also thinking about some projects for the fall / winter season.. so be sure to always check my blog out and specially on late september and follow my blog and  my facebook page to be the first to know!! Oh and you can also find me on flickr
Have an amazing day! :)

I never create a card like this.. I don't know .. i think I was scared by black cardstock..!
Now that i found how to create my own emboss design with regular dies I can't stop using this technique.. ahah!! :)
Here's a detail.. hope you can see clearly the embossing..!

I think this little rabbit by Avery Elle is super cute! And it's perfect under a shower of love! ihih!

Embossing please!

Update: This card received the "Honorable Gnome" title!! I'm so so happy! thanks!! :)

Hi there! My week was super busy but yesterday I found some time to make a card and I challenged myself with a new technique..!
Here's what I created..

I love the dry embossing effect on a card! I think it's amazing, because it's clean and elegant! But I only have an embossing folder.. yeah the sample I found in the Big Shoot package and i don't know why but i didn't gave it  much attention ever .. But lately i saw lots and lots of cards made with the dry emboss technique and I decided to create my own embossing design with some Lawn fawn dies! :)
Here are some details.. hope you can se clearly the embossing through these pictures..!

I didn't follow any tutorial because i don't have any silicon rubber or other supplies.. I just make some different "sandwiches options" with my Big Shoot platform, my plates, some paper and lots of paper towels! Yeah! They are my embossing secret! ahah! :)

If you like to try too.. here's what i did!
I opened my platform to the TAB1, i positioned a simple piece of cardstock on it and then i put on it my first plate.
Then I took 3 paper towels, I opened them and folded them in half for three times and i stacked them up on my plate. Then I put my card on top, i positioned all the the dies and closed my sandwich with the other plate.
I runned it through my cutting machine back and forth twice and the embossing was done!
Then I finished my card stamping the coordinate stamps with some happy colors to make this technique pop on my project!
I did the same with the alphabet dies to embossing my sentiment! :)
And since these are super rainy days here in my town here's an happy embossed cloud! ihih! :)

I hope you really like my project! If you like the embossing technique please let me know all your secrets and tips for best results with a comment below! :)

Decorate your notebook!

Update: This card received the "Honorable Gnome" title!! I'm so so happy! thanks!! :)

Happy saturday friends!
Yesterday i received a super happy mail from a super sweet crafty friend of mine.. Heidi! She send me an handmade card, a letter and this adorable otter stamp by Lawn Fawn! I was so happy.. i don't think she knows but otters are my favourite animals, here in Italy they are very very very rare, i saw them for the first time in a nature reserve when i was a little girl and i fell in love! So i have to stamp and color all my cuties ... here's what i created... and thank you so so sooo much Heidi :)

I always look for some cute stationary during the summer sale in my town and i recently bought a super simple notebook with these cute light blue pages at the beginning.. and i decide to decorate it!
At school basically all the teachers want the notebook covers to be some specific colors and all the same for all pupils that's why i decorated the inside pages!
I stamped three otters and i thought it was cute make them carrying some school accessories.. so I combined this set with an older LF stamp set called "Science of love". I want this notebook to be super girly so i decided to use soft and baby colors to make everything pretty and sweet!
Here are some details ..

I cutted their paws following the black line with a cutter to make them really carrying their objects! I love the "Science of love" stamp set so much! It's a valentine's day/ love themed one, but with all these cute images you can use it lots and lots of times for any occasions!
If you are interested.. these are the copics that i used for this otter and the ampoule: C5, C3, R20, BG000 and the colorless blender.

I love this calculator..isn't it so cute?! I added some details on my otter this time.. i drew some eyelashes and some whiskers with a black marker..and i don't have a memento black marker so i waited all my copic were completely dry on my cardstock and i used a very light touch.
I used W3, W1, R20 for the otter and BG000, W3, R20 and the coorless blender for the calculator.

Finally for this otter i used E37, E33, R20 and for the book W3,W1, R20 and the colorless blender.
I just drew super small whiskers here to try to make each otter original and unique!
